As of right now, there seems to not be a plateau in expression, which has been the desired outcome. Some of the strains that had the higher translation initiation rate were not the plasmids that had the highest fluorescence. It is quite possible that the gene was over expressed in the cell to the point where it metabolically hindered the cell. This puts a new spin on codon optimization because it is possible to optimize a coding sequence with "fast" codons and not just the codons that are common in the genome.

This strain would be useful to those who are interested in exploring codon optimization more with the "fast" and "slow" codons as an option and would be an easy variation for those who are just learning about genetic engineering.
